Compliance infrastructure
that actually ships.
Complira is a solo-built compliance product for regulated financial services in Europe. We build the audit and evidence layer that regulators will actually accept — without selling consulting hours, roadmap promises, or AI-on-top-of-AI complexity.
Built by one person.

Thomas comes from sales — not engineering, not legal, not compliance. Complira is built using modern AI tooling end-to-end, with deterministic logic that any regulator can verify line-by-line. The product is small, focused, and audit-grade by construction — not despite the founder's background, but because of it. A solo founder building deterministic compliance infrastructure is a fundamentally different proposition than a 50-person team building AI-on-top-of-AI governance platforms.
Procurement teams kept asking the same questions about AI governance. Compliance officers kept being handed evidence in formats that wouldn't pass an audit. And vendors kept selling AI-powered “AI governance platforms” that became a Provider obligation problem of their own.
Complira is the product Thomas wished existed when he was selling: deterministic logic instead of more AI, Frankfurt instead of more US dependency, and an honest roadmap instead of vendor promises that ship in “Q4” until the contract is signed.
Four principles. That's the whole pitch.
Each principle ties to a concrete product or operational decision. No mission statements that don't survive contact with reality.
EU-only, by construction
All customer audit data lives in Frankfurt. All sub-processors are EU-hosted. No US data transfers, no Schrems II workaround, no “we'll figure out the SCCs later”. Frankfurt is not marketing — it's an architectural commitment that shapes which sub-processors we will and won't use.
Deterministic, never AI-on-AI
Our compliance dashboard is regex, keyword matching, and additive scoring. No machine learning. If we used AI to judge AI, we'd be a Provider under our own product. We're not — and that keeps the regulatory chain clean for every customer using us.
Honest about the roadmap
We ship the audit and evidence layer today. Live Article 14 human oversight is targeted for October 2027 — aligned to the Annex III high-risk enforcement deadline, not before. Our documentation tells you exactly what's live, what's partial, and what ships when. No fairy-tale capability claims.
Compliance shouldn't slow you down
Five-minute SDK integration. Non-blocking by design — if Complira is unavailable, your AI calls continue uninterrupted. Compliance teams get regulator-grade evidence; engineering teams barely know we're there.
