§ 03WHO WE LOOK FOR

Four things we hire for.

Every role at Complira is filtered through these four. They're not the whole picture — but if you don't recognise yourself in any of them, the role probably isn't for you.

Killers and doers

Operator-mindset over consultant-mindset. People who ship work that moves customers and revenue forward — not people who spend cycles deciding whether we should ship. The bar is measurable output, not airtime in meetings.

Ship-oriented

Quality is measured by what lands in customer hands, not by what's in specs, roadmaps, or strategy documents. We prefer narrow, complete work over broad, partial work. If it isn't in production, it doesn't count yet.

Trust and pace

You take direction well and move fast. We give clear briefs; you come back with results. People who need to be sold on every task before doing it aren't a fit — the pace is set by customer commitments, not consensus building.

High-trust, low-supervision

We don't track hours, we don't require status updates, and we don't do performance theatre. In return, we expect you to deliver without being asked twice. People who need structure to perform aren't a fit. People who treat their work like their own business are.

§ 04HOW WE HIRE

Fast, direct, no theatre.

When we open a role, we move fast. Usually one or two conversations and we decide. People who need three weeks of structured evaluation aren't a fit either way.

We don't do whiteboard puzzles, take-home tests longer than two hours, or trick questions. We talk about work you've actually done — what shipped, what didn't, what you'd do differently.

We don't hire on “culture fit” or personality matching. We hire on what you've delivered and what you can do next. The team is small enough that direct conversations replace process.
